Senior CNC Milling Technician (m/f/x)

Join us as a Senior CNC Milling Technician and work with us to transform the future.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate CNC machines for 5‑axis milling and 3+2‑axis milling.
• Interpret complex CAD drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Program CNC machines using Fanuc, Siemens, Haidenhain controls and G‑code for 5‑axis operations.
• Prepare and load raw materials, run test cycles, and ensure machines produce parts within specifications.
• Set machines for full production cycles and fabricate large numbers of precision parts.
• Supervise machine operations and adjust parameters for optimal results.
• Inspect and measure finished products against technical requirements.
• Perform daily machine checks and maintenance to maintain functionality.
• Create and optimize CAM programs in NX for complex parts.
• Support CAD design tasks, modify models, prepare manufacturing data, and develop tooling and fixturing concepts for complex machining operations.
• Train and mentor new technicians, act as a role model, and contribute to process improvements and advanced machining strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC milling or a related technical apprenticeship.
• Experience with work holding, jigs, and fixturing for complex components on 5‑axis CNC equipment.
• Formal CNC machining certification preferred, plus CAM knowledge.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, bore gauges, thread gauges, indicators, and plug gauges.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel), strong organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.
