Zusammenfassung

LBR Engineering in Germany is seeking a skilled CNC technician to program and operate 5-axis milling machines, develop CAM programs with Autodesk Fusion, and manufacture prototypes, development and series parts from 3D data.

You will select and maintain tools, set up workholding, and ensure the machine fleet is ready for production. Collaboration with the development team will drive hardware and software improvements and the ongoing advancement of our machine control.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as a machinist or industrial mechanic, or equivalent hands-on CNC experience.
• Experience with 3- and 5-axis CNC milling.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM, preferably Autodesk Fusion.
• Independent, reliable, and structured work approach.
• Interest in process improvement and CAM automation.
• Team-oriented with good communication in interdisciplinary settings.

You program and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines, create CAM programs (Autodesk Fusion) and manufacture prototype, development and series parts. You are also responsible for tools, workholding and machine condition, support commissioning and testing, and work closely with development on process improvements and the further development of our machine control.

• Independent programming and operation of 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Creating CAM programs in Autodesk Fusion
• Manufacturing prototype, development and series parts from 3D data and, where needed, technical drawings
• Selecting, setting up and maintaining tools, workholding and machine components
• Responsibility for the maintenance, servicing and operational readiness of the manufacturing equipment
• Supporting assembly, commissioning and testing as part of machine development
• Working closely with the development team to implement and test hardware and software solutions
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our machine control and machine operation

What you bring

• Completed vocational training as a machinist, industrial mechanic or a comparable technical qualification; alternatively, relevant hands-on experience as a career changer with solid knowledge of CNC programming and machining
• Experience with CNC milling (3- and 5-axis machining)
• Confident use of CAD/CAM solutions, preferably Autodesk Fusion
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Willingness to take responsibility for maintenance, manufacturing and process improvement
