Job summary

FMB Maschinenbau GmbH in Germany seeks a qualified CNC milling technician to join our production team. You will set up, configure, and operate milling machines to manufacture parts according to drawings, and create CNC programs for up to five axes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain or Siemens controls.
• Completed vocational training as a machining technician or industrial mechanic.
• Able to work in two shifts and handle measuring equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate CNC milling machines per drawings.
• Create CNC programs for up to 5-axis mills.
• Ensure parts are produced efficiently and on schedule per quality specs.
• Process production orders in a structured, independent manner.
• Conduct independent quality control via measurement and inspection.
• Maintain and care for machines and related equipment.

• Setting up, configuring, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to drawings

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a machining technician / industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or comparable training
• Experience operating CNC milling machines, ideally with Heidenhain or Siemens controls
• Independent and Safe Use of Measuring and Testing Equipment
• Willingness to work in shifts (2 shifts)
• Responsible use of available resources
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, resilience and commitment
