Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Abstraction Specialist to support Core Measures and Sepsis data capture. You will navigate EMRs, code and summarize complex patient records, and ensure accurate data submissions across registries.

The role emphasizes high accuracy, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with hospital partners. Prior clinical exposure and MS Office proficiency are required for success.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of direct Core Measures and Sepsis abstraction experience within the last calendar year (REQUIRED)
• Direct clinical care experience preferred
• RN or LPN credential or substantial clinical experience preferred
• Exposure to multiple EMR systems and clinical databases
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and high accuracy standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts concurrently
• Clear communication and collaboration with hospital partners and team leads

• Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and business rule documents
• Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline tasks and processes
• Stay current on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements from federal, state, payer, and other agencies
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
• Work under the direction of the Manager or Senior Manager
• Deliver quality solutions to hospital partners across the country

Requirements
