Job summary

findIQ, a fast-growing tech startup in Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Germany, seeks a software developer to design and build backend services for our AI-powered web app. You will collaborate closely with customers in an agile environment and contribute to expanding our development team.

Requirements include 3+ years in software development, IaC and cloud experience (Azure/Hetzner/AWS), Linux and container skills (Docker), and knowledge of REST APIs. English proficiency is preferred; German a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Kubernetes) & GitOps.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures in Azure/Hetzner/AWS.
• Knowledge of configuring and monitoring Linux servers & web apps (Prometheus/Grafana/Sentry).
• Experience with Docker, Git, SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Python and/or Javascript/Typescript experience in developing web applications and REST APIs (e.g., via FastAPI) is a plus.
• Creativity and startup mindset; good English (German a plus).

Your responsibilities

• Close collaboration in an agile team close to the customer
• A key role in expanding our development team
• Collaboration on a modern and tested software stack
• Design and development of new functionalities and services in the backend of our web app
• Participation in the entire development cycle, from design to deployment

What we expect
