Job summary

Experts Group International is seeking a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to lead core accounting activities within a finance function. You will own the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and asset accounting, while contributing to modernisation and digitalisation of financial processes.

You will work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to shape accounting and reporting in a growing, forward-looking organisation. Hybrid work with up to 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge in financial statement preparation.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP preferred).
• German native or bilingual, English essential; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own financial accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Assist in annual financial statements and liaise with auditors and tax advisers.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisers; support process digitalisation.
• Contribute to improving accounting standards, documentation, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility for financial accounting, including:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Asset Accounting
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Active involvement in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Close cooperation with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Participation in process optimisation and digitalisation projects within the finance function.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting standards, documentation, and internal controls.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a General Ledger or Senior Accountant role.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in financial statement preparation.
• Confident working with ERP/accounting systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
• Native or Bilingual German Speaker in addition to English Speaking is essential; French is a plus.
• Independent, precise working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
