You will work with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors and payroll providers to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations within a dynamic renewable energy business.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Germany and support the financial management of our renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities

• Prepare annual financial statements

• Coordinate and support year-end audits

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records

• Process and record invoices within the accounting system

• Manage travel expenses and credit card reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Tax Compliance

• Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns

• Support the preparation of corporate income tax returns

• Work closely with external tax advisors

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations

Payroll Coordination

• Liaise with external payroll providers

• Coordinate payroll documentation with HR teams

• Review payroll-related documents and records

• Support salary payment administration processes
