Zusammenfassung

CYBEX is seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to own the maintenance of asset records across multiple entities in Germany. You will capitalize, transfer, and dispose assets, run depreciation, and ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS.

Proactive collaboration with auditors and tax advisors will be essential. Ideal candidates have several years of fixed asset accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial training; ideally with IHK Certified Accountant qualification or comparable.
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in fixed asset accounting.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is beneficial.
• Knowledge of investment and CAPEX processes.
• Experience in fixed asset management and inventories.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

• Perform periodic depreciation runs and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure correct accounting treatment of fixed assets under HGB/IFRS.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze and reconcile fixed asset accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with investment projects and capitalization assessments.
• Support fixed asset inventories and maintain asset records.
• Act as liaison for auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive optimization and digitalization of accounting processes.

• Take ownership of the ongoing fixed asset accounting for multiple legal entities
• Record, capitalize, transfer, and dispose of fixed assets in accordance with accounting standards
• Perform periodic depreciation runs and ensure their accurate execution
• Ensure the correct accounting treatment of fixed assets in compliance with HGB and IFRS
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze and reconcile fixed asset accounts while investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Support investment projects and assess capitalization requirements for new investments
• Assist with fixed asset inventories and ensure accurate asset records
• Act as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Drive the continuous optimization and digitalization of accounting processes

• Successfully completed commercial training, ideally complemented by a qualification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within fixed asset accounting
• Good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is considered an advantage
