The role covers VAT management, monthly reconciliations, and supporting internal stakeholders on tax treatment and invoicing in line with corporate, VAT, and income tax rules. Fluency in German and English is valued.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Finance & Accounting or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Your seat to fill:

• Cooperate with external Branch-Bookkeeping for the tax assessment and tax reporting in compliance with country regulations
• Coordinate outstanding VAT balances and perform monthly account reconciliations within our internal bookkeeping
• Support internal stakeholders in the correct tax treatment and accounting of invoices in accordance with corporate, VAT, and personal income tax regulations
• Monitor compliance with internal accounting processes, policies, and requirements
• Supervise and administer the bookkeeping activities of our external branch offices
• Collaborate with local advisers to ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, e.g. for the requirements of local suppliers (UBO declaration etc.)
• Manage branch office administration within the Head Office, including approval workflows and internal coordination.
• Contribute to branch office-related projects from an accounting and tax perspective, ensuring compliance with different country requirements

• Previous work experience within international company groups and internal control systems
• Profound knowledge of accounting according to German Tax laws and HGB
