Scientist / Senior Scientist (Molecular Biology & Protein Translation)

What you’ll do

• Be our go-to expert for DNA design, coding, and template strategies.
• Explore the world of RNA and protein translation, with a focus on RNA polymerase.
• Drive experiments that expand ALiCE’s capabilities from concept to data and applications.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to translate science into tangible and real impacts.
• Mentor and inspire colleagues while staying hands-on at the bench.

What you bring

• PhD (or equivalent experience) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Postdoc or at least 3 years of industry experience (cell-based or even better cell-free systems) is a strong plus.
• Passion for science at the bench, creative, independent, and solution-driven.
• Experience in DNA libraries, RNA, or protein translation workflows.
• Bonus: exposure to plant biology.
• Strong communication skills in English (German a plus, not mandatory).
