Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Scheduling Professional to create comprehensive project schedules in Primavera P6 and align contractor timelines with the master program. You will define milestones, monitor progress, assess risks, and deliver real-time updates.

Collaboration with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders in a bilingual environment is essential to ensure on-time delivery and data integrity.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling with Primavera P6, including resource planning/management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and German communication skills.
• Experience coaching teams in scheduling for change and Schedule Risk Analysis.

Aufgaben

• Create comprehensive project schedules using P6 jointly with Subject Matter Experts.
• Integrate contractor schedules into the master program and define milestones and dependencies.
• Assess program integrity and provide recommendations for model improvements.
• Perform real-time schedule updates for on-the-spot time analysis.
• Track activities and monitor progress against the baseline; liaise with contractors for data.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, risks and mitigate issues with project team.
• Analyze critical path constraints and recommend workarounds.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to allocate resources.
• Provide inputs to extension-of-time claims and maintain schedules and documentation.

• Create comprehensive project schedules using P6 scheduling software jointly with Subject Matter Experts
• Integrate BOP contractor’s schedule to the master program
• Define project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies based on project requirements
• Assess program integrity and provide recommendations for model improvements
• Perform real-time schedule updates for on-the-spot time analysis
• Continuously update and refine schedules throughout the project lifecycle
• Track project activities and monitor progress against the established baseline
• Liaise with contractors for timely provision of data
• Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, and risks, and work with the project team to mitigate and resolve issues
• Analyze critical path constraints and recommend workarounds
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, identify tasks, and allocate resources
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment of project timelines and dependencies
• Allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Identify resource gaps or conflicts and propose solutions
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans for schedule deviations
• Anticipate schedule impacts from scope, resource, or external changes and recommend mitigations
• Provide inputs to extension-of-time claims to mitigate liquidated-damage risk, including as-planned/as-built and time-impact analyses
• Maintain accurate project schedules and related documentation
• Prepare status reports, progress updates, and dashboards highlighting milestones, variances, and critical issues
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices, lessons learned, and industry standards

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling in Primavera P6, including resource planning/management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple and complex tasks/projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Experience in coaching teams and non-specialists in scheduling for driving change will be valued
• Experience in performing Schedule Risk Analysis will be valued
• Experience in working with Oracle Unifier will be valued
• Scheduling Professional Certificates will be valued (e.g. PMI-SP or similar)
