Next Ventures is seeking an SAP HCM Expert (Public Sector) to join our Germany-based team. You will deliver and support on-premise SAP HCM solutions for public sector clients and collaborate with stakeholders.

The role requires strong module knowledge (PA, OM, Time Management) and AMS experience, with a focus on compliance, security, and long-term client partnerships in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in SAP HCM (on-premise).
• Public sector project experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of core HR modules PA, OM, PT; Payroll beneficial.
• Experience in AMS and project environments.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and system landscapes.
• German native speaker is mandatory.

A leading HR and payroll solutions provider has recently secured a new public sector project and is looking to strengthen its SAP HCM team with an experienced consultant. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing organisation working on long-term, complex HR transformation programmes within the public sector.

You’ll be part of a highly skilled team delivering on-premise SAP HCM solutions, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and long-term client partnerships.

Your Role

• Deliver and support SAP HCM (on-premise) solutions within public sector environments
• Work across key modules such as PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll
• Contribute to implementation and AMS (Application Management Support) activities
• Support system design, configuration, and optimisation
• Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and security requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to workshops and solution discussions

Your Profile

• Strong experience in SAP HCM (on-premise)
• Proven project experience within the public sector (essential)
• Solid knowledge of core modules (PA, OM, PT; Payroll beneficial)
• Experience working in AMS and/or project environments
• Strong understanding of HR processes and system landscapes
• German native speaker (mandatory)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors / hybrid landscapes
• Knowledge of authorisations and security concepts
• Exposure to S/4HANA or Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
