Job summary

Discover Recruitment in Hamburg is seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to own client engagements and design S/4HANA finance solutions. You will guide migrations, work with a development team on custom or standard SAP solutions, and grow with a young, ambitious consultancy focused on value delivery.

The role requires strong SAP FI knowledge, German fluency and English proficiency, and willingness to travel regionally to Hamburg-area clients. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Several years of SAP project experience with mid-sized and/or enterprise clients.
• In-depth experience with SAP FI.
• S/4HANA experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and structured, results-driven working style.
• Willingness to travel regionally, mainly to Hamburg.
• Very good German and fluent English.

• Independently design SAP solutions and implement with a development team.

The Role

• Turn smart processes into efficient solutions. You’ll combine the full capabilities of SAP S/4HANA with each client’s real-world requirements and circumstances.
• Work on exciting projects. You’ll independently design solutions, whether SAP standard or custom-built, and bring them to life alongside an experienced development team.
• Guide clients to S/4HANA. You’ll advise clients on their move to SAP S/4HANA, using either a greenfield or brownfield approach.
• Build lasting client relationships. You’ll look after your own clients and keep evolving their processes and SAP landscape with them.
• Help others grow. You’ll support junior colleagues as they train to become SAP consultants.
• Leave your mark. This is a young, ambitious company where your ideas and wishes genuinely help shape its direction.

You’ll bring

• A degree in economics, business, IT or a related field, or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• Several years of SAP project experience, including consulting for mid-sized and/or enterprise clients
• In-depth experience with SAP FI
• S/4HANA experience is a plus, but not essential
• A sharp grasp of complex issues and a structured, results-driven way of working
• An open, approachable personality and excellent communication skills
• A real appetite for learning new technologies
• Very good German and fluent English
• Willingness to travel for projects, mainly to regional clients in and around Hamburg
