Aufgaben

• Develop and optimise SAP FI: ongoing development and operation of the SAP FI module with focus on POS and cash registers across entities.
• Connect FI, CO, SD, POS systems with business and tech teams to ensure collaboration.
• Drive projects with business departments and national subsidiaries to implement processes and deliver projects.
• Collaborate with SAP developers to implement solutions and ensure data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA solutions with customization and coordination with BW & Analytics.

Are you an experienced SAP FI Consultant ready for your next challenge? Join an international retail business and help develop its SAP S/4HANA FI landscape, focusing on POS and cash register processes. Collaborate across Finance, IT and Digital Commerce, drive projects and international rollouts, and optimise system integration.
Based in Mannheim, the role offers hybrid working, remote flexibility and relocation opportunities. Fluent German and English are essential.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise SAP FI: Take ownership of the ongoing development and operation of the SAP FI module, with a focus on POS and cash register processes across multiple national and international entities and numerous company codes.
• Connect business and technology: Act as a key interface between FI, CO, SD, POS systems, Digital Commerce teams and local subsidiaries, ensuring effective collaboration across departments.
• Drive projects forward: Work closely with business departments and national subsidiaries to develop, coordinate and implement business processes, playing an active role in successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams: Partner with SAP developers to implement solutions and ensure reliable data exchange between SAP and existing non-SAP systems.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA solutions: Work on customising, programme design and coordination with SAP BW & Analytics, while ensuring high-quality documentation of SAP S/4HANA FI solutions.

Your Profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification. Relevant professional experience is also valued.
• Practical experience with SAP FI, additional knowledge of SAP CO and/or SAP SD would be an advantage.
• Experience working on projects, ideally within the retail sector, with exposure to POS integration and cash register processes being particularly beneficial.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are required.
