As our new SAP Basis Administrator, you’ll take ownership of our SAP system landscape, supporting its ongoing development and ensuring stable, high-performance operations. You’ll work in a motivated IT team, supporting the global energy transition by strengthening the digital backbone of a leading industrial innovator.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP Basis landscape: monitoring, support, and further development
• Ensure stable and optimized system performance, including troubleshooting and error analysis
• Plan and implement system copies, upgrades, patches, and release changes
• Manage authorizations and user accounts in close collaboration with specialist departments
• Support the SAP S / 4HANA implementation project as a technical expert
• Provide technical support for SAP projects and act as a key point of contact for internal and external partners
• Monitor, document, and automate recurring SAP processes
• Deliver technical support and training for SAP key users

Your Profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist, degree in business informatics, or similar qualification
• Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration (2 / 3 years)
• Deep understanding of SAP system architecture, transports, authorizations, RFC connections, and interfaces
• Ideally, experience with SAP S / 4HANA projects
• Skilled in creating system documentation and training materials
• Analytical thinker with a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Strong communicator, able to explain complex technical topics clearly
• Languages: fluent German and English
