METRO Markets in Germany is seeking a Sales Consultant (m/f/d) to support our sales team for the German market. You will provide telephone consultations to restaurants, hotels, and other HoReCa customers, advising on our high-quality kitchen technology solutions and closing inbound opportunities.

In addition, you will proactively upsell and cross-sell product bundles, create tailored offers with clear terms, and track inquiries through to successful completion while building long-term

Qualifikationen

• Experience in sales, ideally in a telephone-based role.
• Experience in and with HoReCa equipment/products.
• Strong communication skills and professional phone manner.
• Team player with ideas to optimize customer service.
• Affinity for gastronomy and interest in technical solutions.
• Native-level German and good English; Dutch a plus.

Aufgaben

• Conducting telephone consultations (inbound calls) to advise and sell our high-quality commercial kitchen technology products to our German key existing and new customers (hotels, restaurants, and small businesses)
• Proactively advising and selling our products and product bundles through outbound calls
• Creating individual offers, including clarifying details such as availability and conditions, in collaboration with business partners and respective teams
• Tracking customer inquiries and individual offers until successful completion
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through regular contact and follow-up calls
• Identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to increase value for our customers
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the inbound process by sharing expertise and introducing innovative ideas

You've got

• Experience in sales , ideally in a telephone-based role
• Experience in and with the corresponding equipment/products in the HoReCa sector
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present yourself in a friendly and professional manner over the phone
• You are a team player and enjoy contributing your ideas to continuously optimize customer service
• Affinity for the gastronomy industry and an interest in technical solutions are advantageous
• Native-level proficiency in German and good English skills and Dutch a plus
