Siemens Energy seeks a Mechanical Engineer specialized in quality and process management to oversee and improve quality standards across the development lifecycle.

You will drive the review processes, coordinate with project management, ensure documentation completeness, and lead follow-up actions while traveling more than 20% of the time.

Qualifikationen

• A completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or comparable.
• Several years of professional experience in quality and process management.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork, communication and analytical skills in diverse, cross-functional environments.

• Structured, reliable working style with a focus on deadlines and solution-driven moderation.
• Willingness to travel (> 20%).

A Snapshot of Your Day

You are going to start your day by going through the upcoming reviews. You will carry out a final review of the participant commitments, carry out a short consultation with the project managers responsible and finally check the completeness of the review documentation. After the review meeting, you’ll briefly summarize the results and distribute them to the participants. Later in the day, you take care of the follow-up of the agreed measures from the reviews. All in all, you are responsible for overseeing and improving the global quality of products during the development cycle by establishing and securing quality standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Definition, ownership and consistent application of the review process across product development and order-specific adaptations of standard components
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the review checklist including review questions, assignment to review steps and definition of inclusive reviewer groups
• Joint preparation of reviews with project management including finalization of participant lists and timely, transparent invitation of all relevant stakeholders
• Verification of completeness, quality and timely availability of review documentation to enable equal access to information for all reviewers
• Facilitation and moderation of reviews including validation of reviewer presence, focus-driven discussion guidance, structured decision-making and clear documentation of review outcomes
• Monitoring and tracking of agreed measures and follow-up actions including preparation and coordination of subsequent reviews to ensure sustainable implementation and goal achievement

What You Bring
