  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience in quality management, manufacturing environments, supplier quality, and production process improvement.
  • Strong expertise in root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, Kaizen, supplier recovery activities, and critical manufacturing process assessments.
  • Proven ability to identify technical failure mechanisms, implement sustainable process improvements, and ensure long-term effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments, ideally with turbine hot gas components or other complex manufacturing technologies.
  • Fluency in German and English; willingness to travel 25–30% to supplier locations worldwide.

  • Execution of root cause analyses, manufacturing process reviews, and quality audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaboration with supplier engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve process capability, product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and long-term performance.

As a Resident Quality Engineer (f/m/d), you will spend your day working closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure product quality, production stability, and delivery performance. A significant portion of your role involves being on‑site at supplier locations, leading quality escalations, supporting production recovery, and driving sustainable process improvements. You will analyze manufacturing challenges, coordinate corrective actions, conduct audits, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to strengthen process capability and customer satisfaction. With approximately 25–30% travel, you will play a critical role in maintaining quality excellence across the supply chain.

What You Bring

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, combined with fluency in German and English and willingness to travel approximately 25–30% to supplier locations worldwide
