Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking Quality Management System Designer to join our on-site teams in Germany, contributing to long-term Airbus aerospace and defence projects. Early-career and experienced engineers are welcome, with relocation and language support available.

You will ensure QMS compliance, develop and maintain quality documentation, support audits, and provide technical guidance to inspectors.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of professional experience in Aerospace, Quality Management or Quality Assurance.
• SAP: Advanced application knowledge.
• German: Business fluent (mandatory).
• English: Business fluent (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Perform Component Certifying Staff responsibilities under Part 145, in accordance with Airbus maintenance organisation procedures and applicable authorisations.
• Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) compliance with internal standards and external aviation regulations.
• Analyse repair station processes, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, technical procedures and work instructions.
• Support engineering and operational teams in interpreting and applying quality requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits, quality training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to inspectors, oversee repair inspections and verify compliance with approved repair instructions.
• Review technical documentation, implement engineering specifications and support applicable airworthiness requirements.

Location: Bremen, Germany

Salary: €60,000–€75,000 gross/year + additional benefits

Working hours: 35 hours/week

Contract: Permanent German employment contract

What we're looking for

Essential requirements

• Technical qualification in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Technician or Technical Specialist).

• 1+ years of professional experience in Aerospace, Quality Management or Quality Assurance.

• SAP: Advanced application knowledge.

• German: Business fluent (mandatory).

• English: Business fluent (mandatory).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations and aircraft maintenance quality standards.

• Experience in repair station operations and component certification.
