Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, seeks Standard Parts Qualification Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany for long-term Airbus aerospace projects. Early-career and experienced engineers welcome; 35-hour weeks with relocation and language support offered.

Location: Manching, Germany. Salary: €50,000–€63,000 gross/year plus benefits. Permanent German contract. Apply to contribute to safety-critical software and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and technical documentation.
• German: Business fluent (mandatory).
• English: Business fluent (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Support qualification of electrical standard parts and components per Airbus standards and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain qualification documentation, including QTPs, QTRs and QPLs.
• Participate in supplier qualification, qualification activities and audits.
• Provide technical standardization support to Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Services teams.
• Evaluate new standardization requests and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Support the resolution of in-service issues and contribute to obsolescence management and replacement solutions.

What you'll do
