Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems, based in Germany, is seeking Standard Parts Qualification Engineers to join our on-site teams in Manching and contribute to Airbus aerospace and defence projects. We welcome both early-career and experienced engineers.

You will qualify electrical standard parts, prepare QTPs/QTRs/QPLs, support supplier audits, and collaborate with Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Services on obsolescence management.

Qualifications

• Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and technical documentation.
• German: Business fluent (mandatory).
• English: Business fluent (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Support the qualification of electrical standard parts and components, ensuring compliance with Airbus standards and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical qualification documentation, including QTPs, QTRs and QPLs.
• Participate in supplier selection, qualification activities and internal/external audits.
• Provide technical standardization support to Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Services teams.
• Evaluate new standardization requests and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Support the resolution of in-service issues and contribute to obsolescence management and replacement solutions.
