Job summary

Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder seeks a Quality Engineer Conformance for the A320 family. You will act as the central interface between technical incoming inspection, supplier quality, and the final assembly line, analyzing data, driving digitalization projects, and ensuring cabin parts meet aerospace standards.

The role requires a degree in a related field, several years in IT/aerospace/quality, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aircraft Engineering or related technical field.
• Several years of experience in IT/information systems, aerospace, project management, quality management, and supply chain.
• Experience with data analysis and AI applications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conformance Management as central interface between Supply Chain Quality, Supply Officer, FAL, and Logistics.
• Inspection Planning and digitalization projects, KPIs, and staff certification.
• KPI Dashboards creation in Skywise with programmers.
• Problem solving for complex quality issues and definition of corrective and preventive actions.
• Control Plan Implementation for technical incoming inspection and follow-up.
• Data analysis of inspection findings and derivation of process improvements for the supply chain.
• Communication with a multinational, cross-functional network of stakeholders.
• Product Conformity assurance for cabin parts and cargo work packages released to the FALs.
