OSI Europe in Gersthofen seeks a QA Engineer Plant Compliance – Chicken to ensure quality across chicken products. You will support McDonald’s, OSI Commercial and production sites on quality topics, manage FSQA data and perform root-cause analysis.

You will work closely with market QA teams, train them on processes, and prepare quality maps; travel up to 30% for site audits and calibration days. Fluency in English and German is required, and experience in a food processing environment is

• Train Market QA teams on OSI processes and production processes for chicken products.
• Strengthen QA relationships with local markets and participate in QA Calibration Days.
• Create and maintain quality maps and conduct product sensory assessments.
• Collaborate with chicken sites, McDonald’s markets, Commercial, FSQA and Zone QA teams.
• Travel up to 30% for site visits and cross-border coordination.

Our European Headquarter in Gersthofen is looking for a QA Engineer Plant Compliance – Chicken (m/f/d).

What your job includes

• You support McDonald’s, OSI Commercial and OSI production sites on all quality-related topics concerning chicken products
• You manage FSQA data and ensure data integrity within McDonald’s systems to keep the business running smoothly and agilely
• You collect and analyse quality data related to chicken products, including NPR-FO, complaints, quality maps and -defects
• You follow up on KPI, NPR-FO and other reporting, including root cause analysis and verification
• You train and familiarise Market QA teams with OSI processes and production processes for chicken products
• You strengthen the QA relationship with local markets and participate in QA Calibration Days
• You create and maintain quality maps and prepare and conduct product sensory assessments
• You participate in various ad-hoc teams and take on additional tasks as agreed with your manager
• You work closely with chicken sites, McDonald’s markets, Commercial, FSQA and Zone QA teams
• Your work takes place in the office, production environment and remotely, with business travel of up to 30%

What we expect from you

• Completed degree in Food Technology, Food/Nutrition Science, Life Sciences, Oecotrophology or a comparable field
• Experience in a food processing site
• Thorough knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and GMP principles as well as relevant legislation
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication in English & German with intercultural skills
• Willingness to work across different shifts
• Independent and structured way of working combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams
