Project Background

Current team has already implemented infrastructure level Observability in AWS and integrated with On-prem Netcool Solution. As per customer requirement we need to enhance this Observability solution for Telco applications.

Required skills
  • Extensive experience with AWS services and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Strong understanding of Telco Applications network architecture.
  • Proficiency in integrating AWS cloud-based solutions with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Design and implement an observability solution tailored to our Telco landing zone application.
  • Develop dashboards and alerts for real-time monitoring and incident response.
  • Develop CloudFormation templates and Lambda functions to automate the deployment and management of observability tools.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage observability solutions using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Lambda, Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack, Datadog, Zabbix, and Nagios.

Develop Lambda functions and Terraform templates to automate the deployment and configuration of observability services on AWS.

Write and maintain skeletal code to facilitate automated observability deployments.

Integrate AWS services with on-premises applications to ensure seamless functionality and observability.

Monitor and maintain on-premises Telecom applications, particularly involving VoIP systems.

Implement and manage monitoring solutions for on-prem Telco clouds, specifically for Vodafone environments, using tools like Zabbix and Nagios.

Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation and Terraform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure observability solutions align with business and technical requirements.

Stay updated with the latest AWS services and observability tool advancements to optimize system performance and reliability.
