Job summary

DP World Logistics Germany B. V. & Co. KG in Duisburg is seeking a Project Manager Tender and Pricing Road Freight Europe (f/m/d) to lead RFQ pricing and solution design for road freight across Europe.

In this role you manage the full tender lifecycle, prepare cost calculations and price sheets, align with Operations, Fleet Management, Legal and Controlling, and present management summaries to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Logistics (or equivalent).
• Forwarding merchant education with at least 3 years’ experience.
• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Strong background in the logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFXs for road freight pricing including cost calculations.
• Develop pricing and solution designs for RFQs.
• Coordinate tender workflow from receipt to post-tender review.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and other stakeholders on RFQ topics.

PROJECT MANAGER TENDER AND PRICING ROAD FREIGHT EUROPE (F/M/D)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Project Manager Tender and Pricing Road Freight Europe (f/m/d), you will be responsible for managing RFX-related processes within Tender Management & Pricing Road. You will develop pricing and solution design responses for RFQs in the road division, working independently of specific legal entities or business units.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Handle RFXs received for the road freight business in terms of pricing and solution design; coordinate the entire process from receipt to post-tender review
• Prepare detailed cost calculations and solution concepts according to customer requirements, including price sheets, presentations, and terms & conditions
• Align with Operations to clarify demands and screen incoming RFXs accordingly
• Cooperate with Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders (e.g., Fleet Management, Controlling, Legal, HR) on specific RFQ topics, acting as central point of contact
• Prepare management summaries, what-if calculations, and support management discussions during the decision-making process

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics (or equivalent)
• Alternatively, education as a forwarding merchant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Proven experience in a similar role with at least 3 years of professional practice

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong background in the logistics industry
• Experience in operational and commercial aspects of road transportation
• Proven track record in cost calculations
• Detailed understanding of the European Road Transport market
