Job summary

Freight Appointments Ltd. in Bremen is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager - Import (m/f/d) to join our team. You will develop competitive pricing for import-related transport, prepare quotes, and support RFQ, tender and bid processes.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in Pricing, Project Freight Forwarding, Tender Management, or Commercial Logistics.
• Solid understanding of international transport, import services, and the German freight forwarding market.
• Highly commercial and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Very good German and English written and spoken skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop competitive and commercially viable pricing solutions for import-related transportation services.
• Prepare complex cost calculations, quotations, and pricing proposals.
• Manage import pricing requests while supporting RFQ, tender, and bid processes with tailored commercial solutions.
• Analyze transportation requirements and collaborate with internal teams to determine the best logistics solutions.
• Evaluate quotes from suppliers, carriers, and subcontractors to lock in competitive pricing.
• Assess margins, costs, and risks to support sustainable business growth.
• Monitor market developments and pricing trends in the German logistics and freight forwarding sector.
• Work with Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Project Management to continuously improve pricing methodologies.
