Descrição da oferta de emprego

About Us

Chimera Entertainment is an independent game studio in the heart of Munich. Since 2006, gameplay, creativity, and teamwork have been at the core of everything we do. We’ve published over 25 titles, including the award-winning Angry Birds Epic and Angry Birds Evolution. We build our own IPs, like our latest release Songs of Silence, and we take on work-for-hire projects from first concept to launch, on PC, mobile, and cross-platform. Today we’re one of Germany’s leading game studios: a small, international team of 25 people who love what we do.

Your role

Everyone here has a hand in what we ship. Now we’re looking for someone who wants to be right in the middle of it.

You’re the link between everyone: the team, our leads, publishers, and partners. You keep the overview across up to three projects at a time, depending on their size, from the first rough prototype all the way to launch. You own team, schedule, budget, and delivery. You work closely with our C-level, bring in your ideas, and help shape how we run projects as a studio.

We set the bar high. Our games show it. You start with full ownership of your projects, take on more as you prove yourself, and get direct feedback from our C-level along the way. Our goal is to see you grow into a Project Lead role.

How We Work Together

Here, you’re part of the team, not a number. Your opinion shapes our games from the day you start.

We work with radical candor: we care about each other, and we’re honest with each other. Feedback is direct, specific, and always meant to help. We hope you’ll give it as openly as you receive it.

You’ll also work closely with our production house remote control productions (rcp). That means more know‑how, more contacts, and more support for your projects, from funding and business development to publishing deals.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Guide up to three projects from concept to release.
  • Be the go‑to person for everyone. When someone needs an answer, a decision, or a nudge, they come to you.
  • Plan schedules, spot risks early, and solve them together with the team.
  • Keep daily development moving: meetings, priorities, blockers.
  • Work side by side with our Creative Director, Art Director, and department leads.
  • Bring together internal teams, embedded teams, partners, and outsourcers.
  • Be the main contact for publishers and partners on your projects.
  • Present progress, risks, and budget to our C-level.
Your profile:
  • You’ve shipped at least one game and you’ve done project management in games.
  • You speak and write fluent English. German is a big plus, since a lot of our office chatter happens in German.
  • You live in or near Munich. We’re together in the office Tuesday to Thursday, and Monday and Friday can be home‑office days.
What Makes You Great At This
  • You have a producer mindset. You understand the game and its players, and that shapes your decisions.
  • You know every phase of game development and how the departments fit together.
  • You plan well, communicate clearly, and feel at ease presenting to the team, leadership, or a publisher.
  • You know your way around agile methods like Scrum and project management tools.
  • Our project managers work in Coda (Superhuman Docs) every day, and we keep trying new tools that make work better. You’re up for that.
  • You’re curious about AI and use it every day to make your work, and your team’s work, easier.
Nice to have:
  • You’ve built AI agents or automations that make your PM life easier.
  • You’ve worked on PC and console titles.
  • You’ve worked with an international publisher or self‑published a game.
  • You have a background in product management.
  • You don’t shy away from the camera or a social post when there’s something cool to show.
Perks
  • A creative, casual, and international team in the heart of Munich, just a few minutes from the main station
  • Flat hierarchy and short decision paths. Your ideas don’t get stuck in layers
  • Hybrid setup: office Tuesday to Thursday, Monday and Friday from home if you like
  • Deutschlandticket, fully reimbursed
  • Lunch budget of up to €50 per month
  • Health coaching with a sports scientist and medical training therapist (OLAO Health), online and on‑site
  • A library full of books, games, and consoles
  • Free coffee, drinks, and fruit in the office
  • Being part of the rcp family, a network of around 350 developers in studios across Europe, South America, and South Asia
Sound like your kind of team?

We’d love to hear from you
