Job summary

Specialist Irish Electrical Engineering Contractor in Germany seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical infrastructure packages for major data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial projects. Responsibilities

• Manage specialist electrical infrastructure projects from planning through installation and handover.

The Company

This Irish engineering contractor specialises in lightning protection, earthing and surge protection systems, delivering electrical infrastructure packages across major data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial construction projects throughout Europe.

With a strong pipeline of projects in Germany, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for specialist electrical packages, working closely with main contractors, clients and site teams.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will oversee specialist electrical infrastructure projects in Germany from initial planning and procurement through installation, testing and final handover.

Working closely with senior management, the commercial team, site supervisors and main contractors, you will manage programme delivery, project budgets, subcontractors and client relationships.

The role will involve overseeing lightning protection, earthing and surge protection installations, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification and within agreed budgets.

Must Have Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within the construction or electrical contracting industry
• Experience managing construction programmes, project budgets, subcontractors and site teams
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation
• Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements and project delivery procedures

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of lightning protection, earthing or surge protection systems

• German language skills would be beneficial but are not essential

You should be commercially aware, comfortable managing subcontractors and site teams, and confident dealing directly with main contractors and clients to maintain programme, quality and budget requirements.
