Job summary

Irish M&E Contractor seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical delivery on a major project in Frankfurt. You will oversee the electrical package from startup through commissioning and handover, coordinating with the main contractor, client teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time, quality delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects, with strong LV/MV systems knowledge and proven leadership of site teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar senior electrical position.
• Proven experience delivering large scale data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical systems.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and electrical project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical works from project start-up through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate technical submittals, RFIs and electrical project documentation.
• Manage labour requirements and monitor productivity against programme.
• Maintain weekly progress reports and manage project changes and variations.
• Coordinate plant, equipment and material procurement.
• Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are implemented on site.
• Manage subcontractors and monitor delivery against agreed dates.
• Coordinate directly with the main contractor and client site teams.
• Manage snagging, quality close-out and project handover.
• Attend site and progress meetings and close out actions.

The Company

This Irish M&E contractor delivers large scale mechanical and electrical projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, with significant experience across data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial and other technically demanding sectors.

They are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their European operations and take responsibility for electrical delivery on a major project in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Role: Electrical Project Manager

As Electrical Project Manager, you will manage the electrical package from project start-up through construction, commissioning and handover.

You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, main contractor, client team, subcontractors and site management, taking responsibility for programme delivery, technical coordination, labour, procurement and quality.

You will be an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background delivering complex M&E projects and the ability to take ownership of a major electrical package.

You will need strong technical knowledge of LV and MV systems, good subcontractor management experience and a track record of delivering projects safely, to programme and through commissioning and handover.

Data centre or mission critical experience would be particularly relevant for this position.
