Zusammenfassung

HyperStrong is seeking a Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Germany. You will lead overseas BESS projects from FAT to grid connection, manage plans, budgets, and resources, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Strong cross-border collaboration with China and Europe is essential. The role requires 3–5 years in project management, fluency in English and German, and travel across Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in BESS or related sectors.
• Experience coordinating international, cross-border projects and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with BESS delivery processes and technical standards.
• Fluency in English and German; PMP or similar certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Management

• Manage overseas BESS projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from factory acceptance testing (FAT), transportation and delivery to installation, commissioning, and grid connection.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.

2. Customer Requirements & Project Delivery

• Lead customer requirement management and act as a key point of contact throughout project execution.
• Coordinate technical, solution, delivery, construction, and O&M teams to translate customer requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment between customer expectations and project execution.
• Take overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
• Proactively identify project risks, issues, and potential delays and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Monitor project milestones and provide regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

4. Cross-Border Coordination

• Coordinate resources and communication between China-based teams and European project teams.
• Drive effective collaboration across engineering, supply chain, logistics, construction, commissioning, and O&M functions.
• Facilitate efficient communication across multicultural and international teams.

5. Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Understand customer needs and coordinate internal resources to address project-related issues.
• Support successful project delivery and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

6. On-Site Project Support

• Travel to project sites across Europe to support project execution, commissioning, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with local contractors, suppliers, customers, and technical teams during critical project phases.
• Support the resolution of technical, commercial, and operational issues on site when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in BESS, renewable energy, power systems, EPC, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience in managing complex international projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BESS project delivery processes, relevant technical standards, and project specifications.
• Strong project planning, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and German; Chinese language skills are a strong advantage.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work at project sites across Europe.
