We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the development and delivery of large-scale industrial plants in the bioeconomy sector. In this role, you will oversee all phases of project execution, from conceptual design and planning to construction, commissioning, and handover. • Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Requirements:
• University degree in mechanical, process, civil, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex, large‑scale industrial facility projects (investment volumes > €100M).
• Proven experience with project delivery methods such as EPC and EPCM.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant construction, process engineering, and production operations, ideally in bioeconomy, chemical, or related sectors.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Proficiency in risk, change, and claim management, and collaboration with contractors and service providers.
• Strategic foresight, entrepreneurial mindset, and excellent decision‑making skills.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
• Effective leadership skills fostering accountability, trust, and motivation across teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, CAD software, and MS Project is advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
