Siemens Energy in Erlangen is seeking a Product Owner (f/m/d) for the AI Forge Platform Administration. You own the control plane that enables internal AI apps, agents, APIs, and services to run securely, reliably and at scale.

You will define the product vision, roadmap and backlog, and translate business needs into technical requirements. Work with architects, DevOps, security and operations to drive sprint execution and ensure delivery readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with strong software development and technical product management focus.
• Several years of professional experience in technical product management, product ownership, solution architecture, software development, or comparable technical roles.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure, APIs, enterprise integrations, identity and access management, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, analytics, security, and platform operations.

Aufgaben

• Ownership and continuous development of the vision, roadmap, backlog, and priorities for the AI Forge Platform Administration domain.
• Creation, maintenance, refinement, and prioritization of Jira epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical enablers throughout the product delivery lifecycle.
• Strategic development and coordination of platform capabilities across infrastructure, environments, releases, integrations, scalability, reliability, security, identity and access management, and operational readiness.
• Continuous evolution of the AI Forge Admin Panel, including user and role administration, permissions, application and service catalogs, configuration management, governance workflows, and platform controls.
• Establishment and enhancement of observability and analytics capabilities, including monitoring, logging, alerting, operational dashboards, platform usage and adoption tracking, and performance reporting.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination across architecture, engineering, DevOps, security, process, and operations teams, including requirements translation, dependency management, removal of delivery blockers, and alignment of product outcomes

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Product Owner (f/m/d) for AI Forge Platform Administration, you will own the platform control plane that enables Procurement’s internally developed AI applications, agents, APIs, and services to operate securely, reliably, and at scale.

You will define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog across infrastructure, integrations, the Admin Panel, user management, observability, analytics, governance, and platform operations. You will translate business and operational needs into clear technical requirements and maintain delivery readiness throughout the Agile lifecycle.

Working closely with architects, developers, DevOps, security, process, and operations teams, you will drive sprint execution, resolve priorities and dependencies, and ensure that AI Forge develops as a scalable and enterprise-ready platform.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable discipline, with a strong focus on software development and technical product management
• Several years of professional experience in technical product management, product ownership, solution architecture, software development, or comparable technical roles
• Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure, APIs, enterprise integrations, identity and access management, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, analytics, security, and platform operations
• Experience in software development, particularly with Python, as well as in translating business, user, operational, and governance requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical enablers
• Proven experience in technical product delivery, including Jira-based backlog management, backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution, reviews, acceptance, release readiness, and close collaboration with engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, architecture, engineering, security, DevOps, and operations; experience with AI/GenAI, MLOps, SAP landscapes, enterprise integration patterns, Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is an advantage
