Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Procurement Buyer (f/m/d) in Germany. You will manage end-to-end procurement activities, onboard suppliers, and negotiate contracts to secure best value for our global operations.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, analyze spending and market trends, and drive cost-saving opportunities while maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience with procurement systems and MS Office.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide procurement support.
• Analyze spending, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor contract compliance and procurement risks; resolve supplier issues.
• Maintain procurement records and provide regular reporting and KPI updates.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned categories and suppliers

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability

• Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms

• Process purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide procurement support

• Analyze spending, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities

• Monitor contract compliance, manage procurement risks, and resolve supplier-related issues

• Maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular reporting and KPI updates

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

• 2+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably within manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, life sciences, or a similar industry

• Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract negotiation

• Experience working with procurement systems, e-sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluent English and German language skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
