Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology in Germany seeks a senior professional to lead quality initiatives, including PDCA and 8D, and drive restart activities across production lines. You will shape grinding and surface finishing of optical components and optimize lighting-system assembly for higher quality.

You design test concepts, conduct tests with suitable parameters, and document results while managing changes to meet time, cost, and quality goals.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a technical or scientific field, ideally with a PhD.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering and production processes, preferably in the optical industry.
• Demonstrable experience in process optimization within a production environment, with knowledge of project management and lateral leadership.
• Goal-oriented, responsible work approach, high resilience, and hands-on mindset.
• Ability to assert yourself and mediate between stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills, with very good German and good English proficiency.

• Support and improve the shaping processes (grinding) and/or surface finishing (polishing, coating) of optical components and assemblies.
• Optimize the assembly activities of lighting systems and optical components.
• Design test concepts, conduct tests with suitable parameters, and document the results.
• Manage processes during technological adjustments and ensure goals in terms of time, cost, and quality are achieved.
• Evaluate and adjust process flows within the organization.
• Lead and facilitate quality assurance and continual improvement measures and the corresponding meetings.
