Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology is seeking a dedicated professional to own quality improvement initiatives, PDCA and 8D projects, and to lead restart activities within mechanical engineering and optical production.

Candidates hold a master's degree (PhD preferred) with experience in production processes, especially in the optical industry, plus strong project management and cross-functional leadership.

Aufgaben

• Take responsibility for quality topics such as PDCA and 8D and restart activities.
• Support and improve shaping processes (grinding) and surface finishing (polishing, coating) of optical components and assemblies.
• Optimize the assembly activities of lighting systems and optical components.
• Design test concepts, conduct tests with suitable parameters, and document the results.
• Manage processes during technological adjustments and ensure goals in terms of time, cost, and quality are achieved.
• Evaluate and adjust process flows within the organization.
• Lead and facilitate quality assurance and continual improvement measures and the corresponding meetings.

Your role

Your profile

You hold a successfully completed master's degree in a technical or scientific discipline, ideally with a PhD. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering and production processes, preferably in the optical industry. Demonstrable experience in process optimization within a production environment, with preferable knowledge in project management and lateral leadership. A goal-oriented, responsible work approach, high resilience, and a strong hands-on mindset. Ability to assert yourself and act as a mediator between various stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills, with very good German and good English proficiency (spoken and written).
