Moonwalk Recruitment Solutions in Frankfurt is seeking a Senior Associate for a leading Private Equity firm. You will lead financial underwriting for mid-market buyouts, coordinate due diligence, and prepare investment materials for IC review.

The role requires strong LBO modeling, deep accounting knowledge (IFRS/ German GAAP/HGB), and fluency in German and English, with experience in top-tier IB, elite advisory boutiques, or PE.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of experience within Top-Tier Investment Banking, Elite Advisory Boutiques, Top-Tier Strategy Consulting, or an established Mid-to-Large Cap Private Equity fund.
• Outstanding academic degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in Finance, Business, Economics, or Quantitative Engineering from a premier university.
• Superior LBO modeling skills, strong accounting expertise (IFRS / German GAAP / HGB), and a thorough understanding of deal structuring.
• Native or fluent command of German and professional fluency in English.

• Lead the financial underwriting for mid-market buyout opportunities.
• Build complex 3-statement LBO models, cash flow sensitivities, debt capacity frameworks, and valuation analyses (IRR / MoIC).
• Coordinate third-party diligence providers (FDD, CDD, Legal, Tax, IT).
• Synthesize key operational and market findings into actionable Investment Committee proposals.
• Prepare confidential investment memos, term sheets, valuation packages, and board presentations for deal origination and IC approval.
• Partner with portfolio company leadership on strategic growth initiatives, buy-and-build add-on acquisitions, operational improvements, and exit planning.
• Market Mapping across core DACH verticals to map buyout targets.

The role includes leading financial underwriting for mid-market buyout opportunities, coordinate commercial and financial due diligence, prepare investment materials for Investment Committee approval, partner with portfolio company leadership on value creation initiatives, and conduct market mapping across core DACH verticals.

Responsibilities

• Deal Evaluation & LBO Modeling
• Lead the financial underwriting for mid-market buyout opportunities.
• Build complex 3-statement LBO models, cash flow sensitivities, debt capacity frameworks, and valuation analyses (IRR / MoIC).
• Coordinate third-party diligence providers (FDD, CDD, Legal, Tax, IT).
• Synthesize key operational and market findings into actionable Investment Committee (IC) proposals.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience within Top-Tier Investment Banking, Elite Advisory Boutiques, Top-Tier Strategy Consulting, or an established Mid-to-Large Cap Private Equity fund.

Education

• Outstanding academic degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in Finance, Business, Economics, or Quantitative Engineering from a premier university.

Languages
