Private Equity Firm in Munich seeks an Associate to drive deal origination, execution and portfolio management within a fast, dynamic team. You will focus on financial and commercial analysis, build models, perform due diligence, and support value creation across the portfolio.

The role requires 1–3 years in top-tier investment banking, a top academic track, and strong English and German skills. Munich-based, highly collaborative culture and flat hierarchy.

Our client is a top-performing mid-market private equity firm that has been active in the European market for over 25 years. The fully independent firm has currently ca. €4.0bn in AuM and has an investment mandate across BENELUX, the DACH region and the US. Over the course of its 6 funds the team was always able to realize top-quartile returns. Typically, they invest in companies with an EV between €150m and €350m and seek controlling stakes with the management of the portfolio businesses as co-owners. The team actively supports the management of its portfolio companies in pursuing add-on acquisitions, exploring international growth, or investing in digital transformations, operational excellence or HR.

The firm has built up a strong and growing team of investment professionals in Munich and successfully invested in multiple platform investments and add-on acquisitions in the DACH region. They are now looking to bring on board an additional team member at Associate level. The team is young, hands-on and dynamic and puts high emphasis on team fit and personal attitude to preserve the extremely positive and fun, low hierarchy culture that has been built.
