Zusammenfassung

Eine forschungsorientierte Universität in Hessen sucht einen Postdoktoranden (m/w/d) im Bereich T-Zell-Biologie. Qualifikationen

The position is to be filled on a fixed‑term basis in accordance with § 2 WissZeitVG and § 72 HessHG with the opportunity for own academic qualification at the Chair of Molecular Immunology at the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry. The salary is in accordance with the collective labour agreement of the State of Hessen (E 13 TV‑H).

As long as the maximum permissible duration of a fixed‑term contract is not exceeded, you will be employed for a period of 3 years. An extension of up to 3 additional years is possible under these conditions.

Our research group focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying T‑cell development and function. Our work spans a broad range of topics, from metabolic regulation and cell‑cycle dynamics to post‑transcriptional gene regulation in conventional and unconventional T cells.

  • Develop your own independent research profile in the field of T cell biology
  • Pursue your scientific and academic teaching qualifications and contribute to research and teaching in accordance with § 72 HessHG
  • Take on teaching responsibilities as stipulated by the teaching regulations of the State of Hessen
  • Secure your own third‑party funding and contribute to the research environment with competitive grant applications
Your qualifications and competences
  • A completed university degree and a relevant PhD in Immunology or a closely related discipline
  • Research experience in T cell biology, ideally complemented by expertise in RNA biology, metabolic regulation, or cell‑cycle control
  • A high level of independence, strong sense of responsibility, and an ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent command of English
  • Qualification to conduct animal experiments
