Job summary

OHB System AG in Bremen seeks a PMO Manager (m/f/d) to support project management, planning, and control across aerospace projects. You will assist with WBS development, scheduling, risk and change management, and performance reporting for customers and partners.

The role requires experience with PMO activities, MS Project, and strong analytical and communication skills; a structured and diplomatic working style is important for collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in project management or PMO activities with ECSS and scheduling.
• Experience with MS Project and resource planning tools.
• Ability to prepare risk, schedule and cost estimates.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; collaborative and structured.
• Diplomatic presence with presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management in planning, organising and executing the project, including contributions to commercial analyses and operational decision making.
• Assist with resource planning, creation and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), work packages and Internal Performance Agreements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (including customer and supplier schedules), perform critical path and milestone trend analyses, and track deadlines and action items.
• Contribute to risk, change and claim management, and support the preparation of the cost to completion in close cooperation with project controlling.
• Organise internal project review meetings, prepare progress and status reports for customers, and support coordination sessions with industrial core team partners.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of project management tools, processes and templates across projects and PMO activities.

Your Tasks

Your Qualifications

• Experience in project management or PMO activities, including proficiency in common PM methods and standards (e.g., ECSS), and strong skills in scheduling, risk, configuration, and change management
• Experience across relevant project phases and confident use of MS Project as well as familiarity with resource and workforce planning tools
• Ability to prepare risk, schedule, and cost estimates and conduct performance controlling related to time, cost, and quality
• Strong analytical and communication skills, high willingness to collaborate, well structured working style, and solid conflict resolution abilities
• Confident, diplomatic professional presence with strong persuasion and presentation capabilities
