Job summary

OHB System AG in Bremen is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) to take overall responsibility for planning and delivering complex customer projects, coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, and managing schedules, budgets, and risks.

The role requires a degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering and several years of project management experience in high-tech industries, with strong leadership and communication skills. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally within the space, aerospace, or other high-technology industries, including the leadership of complex technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools combined with a solid understanding of relevant standards, processes, and commercial aspects.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance technical, schedule, cost, and quality requirements effectively.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop, and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project delivery.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style combined with strong decision-making skills, customer focus, and a business-minded approach.
• Willingness to travel regularly, both nationally and internationally
