Zusammenfassung

Prysmian is seeking a Plant Quality Engineer to shape the interface between production, R&D, customers and suppliers. You will drive quality improvements, coordinate complaint handling, facilitate FMEAs, and support the ongoing development of our quality management system.

The Plant Quality Engineer actively shapes the interface between production, R & D, customers, and suppliers. In this role, you will drive quality improvements, coordinate complaint handling, facilitate FMEAs, and support the sustainable further development of our quality management system.

In this role you will:

Complaint and Quality Management

• Independent coordination and tracking of quality and complaint reports (internal and external)
• Analysis of root causes and initiation/tracking of corrective and preventive actions
• Verification of the effectiveness of implemented measures
• Preparation of customer reports and quality analyses
• Participation in customer meetings and presentation of measures and results
• Execution of and support for improvement projects to enhance product and process quality

FMEA and Risk Management

• Planning, facilitation, and execution of Design and Process FMEAs
• Coordination of interdisciplinary FMEA teams
• Ensuring the implementation and tracking of defined measures
• Further development of methods for risk assessment and error prevention

Audit Management

• Conducting production process audits
• Preparation of audit reports and tracking of agreed-upon measures
• Verification of the effectiveness of implemented measures
• Support during customer and certification audits

Supplier Quality

• Creation, maintenance, and control of supply specifications
• Conducting supplier audits (domestic and international)
• Processing and tracking of supplier complaints
• Qualification and development of new and existing suppliers
• Conducting supplier acceptance checks and supporting initial sample inspections
• Close collaboration with Purchasing, R&D, and Production to ensure supplier quality

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• degree in a technical field or technical vocational training with relevant further education, or equivalent qualifications acquired through other means.
• Several years of professional experience in quality management within an industrial environment desirable.
• Knowledge of FMEA, audit management, and complaint handling.
• Experience with quality methods such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, SPC, or Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant norms and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong sense of responsibility and assertiveness.
• Confident demeanor when dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal interfaces.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Fluent in German and English

Der Plant Quality Engineer (m/w/d) gestaltet die die Schnittstelle zwischen Produktion, Entwicklung, Kunden und Lieferanten aktiv. In dieser Funktion werden Sie:

Reklamations- und Qualitätsmanagement

• Eigenverantwortliche Koordination und Nachverfolgung von Qualitäts- und Reklamationsmeldungen (intern und extern)
• Analyse von Fehlerursachen sowie Einleitung und Verfolgung von Korrektur- und Vorbeugemaßnahmen
• Überprüfung der Wirksamkeit eingeleiteter Maßnahmen
• Erstellung von Kundenreports und Qualitätsauswertungen
• Teilnahme an Kundenmeetings sowie Präsentation von Maßnahmen und Ergebnissen
• Durchführung und Unterstützung von Verbesserungsprojekten zur Steigerung von Produkt- und Prozessqualität

FMEA und Risikomanagement

• Planung, Moderation und Durchführung von Design- und Prozess-FMEAs
• Koordination interdisziplinärer FMEA-Teams
• Sicherstellung der Umsetzung und Nachverfolgung definierter Maßnahmen
• Weiterentwicklung von Methoden zur Risikobewertung und Fehlervermeidung

Auditmanagement

• Durchführung von Produktionsprozessaudits
• Erstellung von Auditberichten und Nachverfolgung der vereinbarten Maßnahmen
• Überprüfung der Wirksamkeit umgesetzter Maßnahmen
• Unterstützung bei Kunden- und Zertifizierungsaudits

Lieferantenqualität

• Erstellung, Pflege und Lenkung von Lieferspezifikationen
• Durchführung von Lieferantenaudits im In- und Ausland
• Bearbeitung und Nachverfolgung von Lieferantenreklamationen
• Qualifizierung und Entwicklung neuer sowie bestehender Lieferanten
• Durchführung von Lieferantenabnahmen und Unterstützung bei Erstbemusterungen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Einkauf, Entwicklung und Produktion zur Sicherstellung der Lieferantenqualität

Sie sind der richtige Kandidat, wenn Sie folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium oder technische Ausbildung mit entsprechender Weiterbildung oder entsprechende Qualifikationen auf anderem Weg erworben.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Qualitätsmanagement eines industriellen Umfelds wünschenswert
• Kenntnisse in den Bereichen FMEA, Auditmanagement und Reklamationsbearbeitung
• Erfahrung mit Qualitätsmethoden wie 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why, SPC oder Six Sigma von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse relevanter Normen und Standards (z. B. ISO 9001)
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office-Anwendungen
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Moderationsfähigkeiten
• Strukturierte, analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
