Prysmian is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and capital expenditure projects. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities, and preparing technical documentation for procurement and installation of machinery.

We value a systematic, solution-oriented approach, team collaboration, and strong technical understanding of machinery. Fluency in German and English is required, with several years of maintenance experience desirable.

• Completed university degree (in mechanical engineering or a related field).
• Systematic, solution-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks desirable.
• Strong technical understanding of machinery and associated processes.
• Ability to assert oneself and work effectively in a team.
• Fluent in German and English both in written and spoken.
• Several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance desirable.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance or capital expenditure projects using internal or external personnel.
• Prepare technical documentation for procurement and installation of new machinery/equipment as well as for maintenance activities, including supervision of execution.
• Provide technical support to workshop team leaders, particularly regarding execution of work orders.
• Determine required spare parts inventory.
• Provide technical support for creation and optimization of maintenance schedules.
• Technically implement standards and other regulations, rules or legal requirements.

The Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance & Capital Expenditures supports the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance and capital expenditure projects..

• Preparation of technical documentation for the procurement and installation of new machinery and equipment as well as for maintenance activities, including supervision of execution
• Providing technical support to workshop team leaders, particularly regarding the execution of work orders

• Providing technical support for the creation and optimization of maintenance schedules

Der Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance & Capital Expenditures (m/w/d) unterstützt bei der Planung, Koordination und Durchführung von Instandhaltungs- und Investitionsprojekten.

In dieser Funktion werden Sie:

• Planung, Koordination und Durchführung von Instandhaltungs- oder Investitionsprojekten mit internem oder externem Personal
• Erstellung der technischen Unterlagen für die Beschaffung und Installation neuer Maschinen und Anlagen sowie für Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen inkl. der Überwachung der Ausführung
• Fachliche Unterstützung der Teamleiter der Werkstatt, vor allem in Bezug auf die Art der Ausführung von Aufträgen
• Festlegen von vorzuhaltenden Ersatzteilen
• Fachliche Unterstützung bei der Erstellung und Optimierung von Wartungsplänen
• Technische Umsetzung von Normen und anderen Vorschriften, Regeln oder gesetzlichen Anforderungen
