Sungrow Germany in Munich is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to act as a trusted partner for managers and employees, guiding on people-related matters and ensuring compliance with German labor law. You will manage onboarding, performance management, organizational development, and change initiatives, while coordinating with local and international stakeholders.

Fluent German and English are required, with at least 5 years of HRBP experience.

• Bachelor’s or higher in HR, business, law or psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an HR Business Partner role in international environments.
• Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting managers on ER, performance, OD and change topics.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees, providing professional guidance on people-related matters.
• Support and advise on employee relations issues, performance management, talent development, and organizational changes.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation management, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with German labor law and company policies while supporting day-to-day HR operations.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support recruitment activities in cooperation with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team.
• Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
• Analyze HR data and trends to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the implementation and rollout of HR projects and regional HR initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with local and international stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
• at the beginning we can offer 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

This is a fixed term contract role for 20 months.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably within an international and fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience supporting managers on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change management topics.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic and solution‑oriented approach.
• You can commute to the Munich office at least 3 days per week.
