J&T Express Germany GmbH in Kelsterbach is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own payroll processes and collaborate with our HR team and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant monthly payroll operations. You will support Compensation & Benefits, maintain employee records, and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes while ensuring compliance with German payroll regulations.

The role is based in Kelsterbach with an anticipated relocation to Nieder-Olm near Mainz

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Experience in German Payroll or Payroll Administration.
• Experience with Compensation & Benefits is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of German payroll processes and payroll-related legislation.
• Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in German and English; Mandarin is a plus.

• Prepare, validate and coordinate payroll data for monthly payroll processing.
• Coordinate monthly payroll activities with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Review payroll results and support payroll quality improvements.
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliation and data validation.
• Support Compensation & Benefits processes, including salary adjustments and benefits coordination.
• Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with HR and external payroll providers to ensure compliant operations.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of payroll-related processes and work closely with our HR team and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations. You’ll also support Compensation & Benefits activities while contributing to the continuous improvement of our payroll processes. The role is currently based in Kelsterbach. As part of our continued growth, we are planning to relocate our office to Nieder-Olm, near Mainz, around October 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and coordinate payroll data to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing
• Coordinate monthly payroll activities with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers
• Review payroll results and support the continuous improvement of payroll quality and processes
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliation and data validation
• Support Compensation & Benefits processes, including salary adjustments, bonus administration and benefits coordination
• Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records
• Work closely with the HR team and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations
• Ensure compliance with German payroll regulations, internal policies and statutory requirements

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• Experience in German Payroll or Payroll Administration
• Experience with Compensation & Benefits is considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of German payroll processes and payroll-related legislation
• Structured, detail-oriented and reliable working style
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and international Environment
• Fluent in German and English; Mandarin is a big plus
