sfm medical devices is seeking a flexible Packaging Project Manager (w/m/d) to lead the procurement of packaging equipment, from specification through commissioning and handover to production.

The role involves managing projects and supporting the development of sterile barrier systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11607-1 and 11607-2, at our sites in Wächtersbach, Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic.

Qualifikationen

• Technical training or associate degree in a technical field.
• Several years of experience in engineering and/or packaging.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and quality standards (ISO 13485) advantageous.
• Good technical English communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the procurement of packaging equipment, from specification and selection through commissioning and handover to production.
• Manage projects and support development of sterile barrier systems per DIN EN ISO 11607-1.
• Qualify packaging equipment and validate packaging processes per DIN EN ISO 11607-2 at sites in Wächtersbach and Prague.
• Prepare technical documentation for product registrations and regulatory submissions.

To strengthen our PPE Packaging Department, we are looking for a flexible and reliable Packaging Project Manager (w/m/d).

Your Responsibilities

Lead the procurement of packaging equipment, from specification and selection through commissioning and handover to production

Manage projects and support the development of sterile barrier systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11607-1

Qualify packaging equipment and validate packaging processes according to DIN EN ISO 11607-2 at our sites in Wächtersbach, Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic

Prepare technical documentation for product registrations and regulatory submissions

Conduct product testing and support verification activities

Your Qualifications

Completed technical training or associate degree in a technical discipline; additional engineering education is a plus

Several years of professional experience in engineering and/or packaging, preferably in a regulated industry

Knowledge of medical device regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485) is advantageous

Good technical English communication skills, both written and verbal

Analytical and structured approach to work with a strong focus on quality

Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
