GfPS mbH in Germany is seeking a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for packaging testing and transport validation to help ensure the safety and quality of medical devices in a GMP ISO 17025-compliant lab.

You will perform tests, assist with simulations, maintain equipment, and collaborate in an interdisciplinary team; German B2/C1, ability to lift up to 20 kg, and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as a technical assistant (m/f/d) in physics, biotechnology, or a related field; career changers with a strong interest in technical and testing processes are also welcome
• High precision in work
• Ability to work as part of a team and in an interdisciplinary environment
• A sense of responsibility and a commitment to quality and safety
• Willingness to pursue continuing education and adapt to new methods and technologies
• Physical ability to lift and carry loads weighing up to approximately 20 kg
• Proficiency in German at the B2/C1 level, knowledge of English
• Authorization to work in Germany; recognition of professional qualifications, if applicable

Aufgaben

• Preparation, conduct, and documentation of laboratory tests (e.g., accelerated aging, tensile strength testing, visual inspections) on packaging systems for medical devices to ensure shelf life and sterility
• Preparation, execution, and documentation of transport simulations through mechanical testing
• Administrative tasks and support work related to packaging inspection
• Maintenance of Test Equipment and Instruments
• Collaborating with other team members and experts to drive projects forward together
• Compliance with Safety Policies and Procedures in the Laboratory
• GMP-compliant testing and documentation of work steps in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
