Role Overview
As Operations Manager in Germany you will optimise operational performance and ensure successful delivery of wireless services. You will act as the ‘air traffic controller’ for the order lifecycle, managing the process from intake through to completion while maintaining high service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Planning – Collaborate with customers, field engineers and third parties to schedule installations and meet assigned service levels.
- Order Preparation – Coordinate with internal teams to source, configure, pack, ship and deliver all service components.
- Order Completion – Support technical teams in finalising orders, handling escalations, and driving customer satisfaction.
- Procurement & Logistics – Work with global procurement to secure goods and services cost‑effectively, manage suppliers, optimise costs and approve bills within the region.
- Technical Support – Provide 2nd‑level local support during German office hours and ad‑hoc technical requests to the Global Support Centre.
- Partner & Field Engineer Management – Train, enable and manage partners to ensure delivery to specifications and deadlines.
- Finance & Accounting – Assist the global finance manager with billing, payments and accounting matters as required.
- Process Improvement – Document and refine processes, propose automation to increase efficiency.
- Project Management – Lead complex projects with customers, partners and internal teams; work independently and as part of a team, think strategically and deliver on deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, time‑management and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in English and German (written and verbal); other European languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Leadership capability, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in telco or related network environments is a plus.
