Job summary

Touton Specialty Coffee is seeking an Operations & Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) to drive export and logistics, with cross-functional collaboration across sales, logistics, and accounting. The role focuses on end-to-end export processes, warehouse coordination, and data integrity in ERP systems.

You’ll join an international, values-driven team committed to sustainability, transparency, and long-term partnerships in coffee trading.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial/business administration training or comparable qualification.
• Experience in export, operations, logistics or supply chain is desirable.
• Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel; strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage export transactions from order to delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, logistics providers, and warehouses.
• Maintain and update data in operational systems; ensure data accuracy.
• Support Accounting with invoicing and reconciliations; prepare reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with Trade, Accounting and Logistics to ensure smooth supply chain.
• Cover Import Operations during holidays or absences.

Touton Specialty Coffee is currently looking for a structured, committed, and responsible Operations & Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on export, logistics and accounting support. In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of our operational processes and actively contribute to collaboration across the entire value chain.

The Operations & Logistics department acts as a key interface between Trade, customers, logistics, warehouses, accounting, as well as our international partners and service providers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and self-motivated professional with a focus on export and logistics.

What you can expect

Export Operations & Customer Support

• Independently managing export transactions from order confirmation through to delivery
• Direct communication and ongoing coordination with national and international customers
• Handling customer enquiries, call-offs and operational changes
• Coordinating and monitoring delivery schedules and shipments
• Preparing and managing the required export documentation
• Ensuring reliable and transparent communication with customers and internal stakeholders

Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

• Independently organising and coordinating national and international transports
• Close cooperation and coordination with freight forwarders and transport service providers
• Close coordination with our warehouse partners regarding goods availability, loading and delivery
• Monitoring and tracking shipments and transports
• Ongoing communication regarding collections, delivery dates, delays and operational changes
• Ensuring a smooth interface between Trade, customers, warehouses and logistics

Systems & Operations

• Independently maintaining and updating all relevant data, positions and processes in the systems used
• Carrying out regular checks and controls of operational data
• Ensuring an accurate and up-to-date data basis
• Documenting and following up on relevant operational processes
• Actively contributing to the further development and optimisation of operational processes

Accounting & Reporting Support

• Supporting Accounting with invoicing and other accounting-related processes
• Checking, allocating and documenting relevant documents and supporting records
• Supporting payment-related topics and reconciliations
• Preparing and maintaining reports, statistics and analyses
• Preparing relevant information for Trade and other internal departments

Communication & Interface Management

• Close and proactive cooperation with the Trade team
• Collaboration with Accounting, Logistics and other internal departments
• Communication and coordination with customers, warehouse partners, freight forwarders and other external partners
• Ensuring transparent and reliable communication throughout the supply chain

Import Operations Cover

• Covering the Import Operations colleague during holidays and other periods of absence
• Taking over and coordinating key operational import activities during these periods

What we look for

• Completed commercial/business administration training or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in export, operations, logistics or supply chain is desirable
• Experience in customer service and logistics coordination is an advantage
• Structured, independent and proactive way of working
• Strong sense of ownership and excellent organisational skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Team-oriented and responsible approach
• Affinity for numbers and a careful, reliable way of working
• Good written and spoken German and English
