Basler AG, a leading computer vision company, seeks a procurement professional for a 12-month parental leave replacement in Ahrensburg. You will maintain vendor data, place and track orders, and manage contracts in SharePoint while collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements include business training or degree, SAP expertise (S/4HANA preferred), and strong MS Office experience (Excel/SharePoint). German and English skills valued. On-site role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Education: completed business training and/or hold a college degree.
• In-depth SAP knowledge, ideally S/4HANA.
• MS Office proficiency; Excel and SharePoint; Power BI experience.
• Basic Jira knowledge.
• Understanding procurement of services, consumables, IT hardware and software.
• Experience in operational procurement with strategic elements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master data for vendors, info records, orders and materials.
• Conduct timely operational purchasing for samples, pilots and prototypes.
• Manage the travel portal and serve as contact for internal inquiries.
• Place and monitor orders, coordinate with requesting departments.
• Ensure parts availability and track deadlines.
• Manage missing parts and contract database in SharePoint.
• Clarify technical/commercial details in projects and assist with invoice verification.

Starting immediately, Full-time with 40 hours peer week or part time with minimum 30 hour per week, limited to 12 months parental leave temporary replacement

Your responsibilities

• Maintenance of master data (vendors, info records, order books, and material master data)
• Timely, operational purchasing of materials and tools for samples, pilot runs, and prototypes as part of product development
• Management of our travel portal (including serving as the point of contact for inquiries from internal customers)
• Placing and monitoring orders based on existing supplier and
  price specifications in close coordination with the requesting departments
• Ensuring parts availability
• Tracking and monitoring deadlines
• Responsible for managing missing parts
• Maintaining the contract database in SharePoint (Uploading contracts with their respective expiration dates)
• Assisting with the clarification of technical and commercial details in the course of projects
• Assisting with invoice verification (resolving discrepancies) and complaint handling
• Responding to availability inquiries as part of production control

Your qualifications

• Education: You have completed business training and/or hold a college degree
• SAP expertise: in-depth application knowledge, ideally in S/4HANA
• MS Office skills: proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint; ideally, experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
• Basic knowledge of Jira
• Understanding of the procurement of services, consumables, IT hardware and software, or tools
• Familiarity with product category management and working with key metrics (savings, cost avoidance)
• Professional experience: at least some experience in operational procurement with strategic elements
• Strong communication skills: Enjoy collaborating in an agile environment with internal and external partners
• You possess the following personal qualities: open-mindedness, a friendly demeanor, strong teamwork skills, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to work
• You have an interest in technical matters, are motivated to familiarize yourself with new subject areas, and are a quick learner
