Purchaser (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Review and evaluate purchase requisitions, and obtain and analyze supplier quotations
- Independently negotiate purchasing and contract terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions
- Support the development and continuous improvement of framework agreements with suppliers
- Analyze commodity groups, procurement markets, and supplier structures to optimize purchasing strategies
- Plan, prepare, and manage tendering and bidding processes
- Advise and support internal stakeholders in demand planning and requirements definition
- Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement decisions
- Manage operational purchasing activities, including system documentation and processing in SAP
- Handle and follow up on supplier claims and complaints in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain, validate, and analyze relevant master data and procurement data in SAP
- Actively contribute to strategic procurement initiatives as well as digitalization and process optimization projects
- Prepare, analyze, and present regular reports, KPIs, and statistical evaluations
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a completed commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience in a comparable role
- Proven experience in technical and/or strategic procurement
- Strong presence and excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills
- Solution-oriented and cost-conscious mindset, with the ability to manage complex situations effectively
- Efficient, independent, and self-driven way of working
- Fluent German language skills and business-fluent English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; SAP user knowledge and strong data literacy are highly desirable
- High level of commitment, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a proactive approach
